A Heavens-system Trailblazer and Seed-Bearer who leads the search for his blood brother Ryan. During the crossing into the Divided Realms, he accepts appointment as an Envoy of the Fae and gains powers linked to planting seeds of the Ways.

Selena (Supporting)

Appears from the start

Silas's fiancée and a formidable reality mage. She accompanies the mission to find Ryan and can use her magic to shelter the travelers from outside interference.

Samvek (Supporting)

Appears from the start

A veteran companion of Silas and the bond partner of Azuria. He joins the void journey toward Ryan while continuing to restrain Hunger, a power that responds eagerly to the prospect of violence.

Talia (Supporting)

Appears from the start

A healer who joins Silas's party on its expedition to find Ryan. She serves as the group's medical specialist during the journey.

Azuria (Supporting)

Appears from the start

Samvek's bonded dragon and the party's guide through the void. Her evolved wings and instinct for routes between worlds allow her to carry the group toward the Divided Realms.

Urg (Supporting)

Silas's immensely powerful Eidolon. Their bond makes lasting separation nearly impossible, but Urg refuses to make the initial void crossing in person and remains available to be summoned after the party arrives.

An Ascendant archlich and one of the undead rulers of Deterious. He receives Silas's party in his tower and offers negotiation after explaining how his civilization survived an orc invasion by embracing undeath.

Lana (Supporting)

Silas's long-standing friend and a powerful temporal mage. She arrives in the undead ship's engine room at the moment of detonation and holds the blast in frozen time.

Ryan (Supporting)

Silas's blood brother and a cultivator commanding a battered resistance against Modron forces. Silas finds him leading the defense alongside his seven wives after following his location across the void.

Ryan's earth-and-gravity wife (Supporting)

One of Ryan's wives and a cultivator whose techniques use earth and gravity.

Dana (Supporting)

Ryan's aunt and an A-rank cultivator healer. She leads a team treating the vast number of casualties left by the Modron attack and coordinates battlefield triage with Talia.

Kumo (Supporting)

One of Ryan's wives, with poison and shadow affinities. She has a Heavens-system class in place of active cultivation and remains involved in the coalition's recovery after the Modron battle.

One of Ryan's wives, with a mixed human, Modron, and red-dragon bloodline. She can fully assume dragon form, and her resonance with Azuria leads the older dragon to begin training her.

A powerful devil discovered inside Ryan's camp after concealing herself as a human observer. Silas and Urg penetrate her defenses and identify her within the camp.

Asmodeus

A figure with authority over the concealed devil following Silas. The observer plans to seek revised contractual terms from him as her assignment grows more perilous.

Abel Kalestian (Minor)

First appears in chapter 40

An Earth defender helping reinforce the planet while Silas trains in the Divided Realms. His work supports the effort to protect Earth during a period of mounting political pressure.

Jiang (Supporting)

First appears in chapter 44

Silas's appointed stand-in on Earth. Rival factions pressure him to accept a formal ruling position while he manages the planet's growing importance as a center of interworld trade.

Lana Kalestian (Supporting)

First appears in chapter 44

The full identity of Lana, Silas's adopted family member and temporal mage. She volunteers to become his second Horseman and receives a cultivator core that preserves her existing Heavens-system class structure.

Ryan's glyph-master wife (Supporting)

One of Ryan's wives and an accomplished glyph practitioner who teaches Silas her craft. Their joint experiments unite glyphs and runes in equipment that lets several people direct Silas's golems.

Jiang Bai (Supporting)

First appears in chapter 71

The full identity of Jiang, Silas's delegated authority on Earth. He refuses agreements that would exchange Earth's long-term independence for immediate off-world advantages and resists armed political coercion.

Asta (Minor)

First appears in chapter 71

A researcher working in Silas's lunar dungeon on a dragon-blood enhancement serum. When a volunteer develops an unstable partial transformation, she reverses the physical effects and continues refining the treatment.

The European political operator (Antagonist)

First appears in chapter 71

A European political operator who hires an off-world guild to investigate Silas. The arrangement calls for manipulation if possible and removal if that fails, in exchange for authorization to establish a guild chapter house on Earth.
