Spider matriarch (Antagonist)

Royal princess

Sen's former companion and capital contact, whose protected house he visits quietly after a long absence.
Formation-maker (Minor)

Feng's watcher (Supporting)
First appears in chapter 50
A protective former travelling companion of Sen and an ally in the capital. After the princess's failed assault, she confronts the royal cultivator, explains the mortal danger that forced Sen to leave, and insists that any future dealings with him must not endanger him.
Ghost Panther claimant (Minor)
First appears in chapter 52
A male Ghost Panther who has demanded that Falling Leaf accompany him. Falling Leaf personally refused, with Sen supporting her choice. Sen nevertheless expects the claimant to return, leaving another unresolved challenge to her autonomy.
Messenger (Minor)
First appears in chapter 54
A capable stranger who bypasses Sen's camp formations and says an unnamed master sent him with a proposal. He appears close to Sen's cultivation level and presses for a hearing despite Sen's firm refusal to accept another unknown obligation.
Three junior disciples (Minor)
First appears in chapter 58
Three junior disciples who block Sen's path, demand recognition of their sect and honor, and prepare to attack him. Sen overwhelms them with Heaven's Shadow, an apparently nonlethal technique whose lasting effects are not yet known.
Core-stage investigator (Minor)
First appears in chapter 60
An inner disciple sent to locate three missing juniors. She believes the assignment may be retaliation from an elder whose advances she rejected. Finding the disciples alive but psychologically devastated, she puts their immediate survival ahead of reporting to her sect.
Returning sea captain (Minor)
First appears in chapter 61
A returning sea captain who recognizes Sen, cites an earlier debt, and agrees to carry him to the ancient divine turtle cove.
