Wyrmshard

The second book in the Savage Dominion series continues the hunt for the scattered blade shards as Malkin tests a newly restored Waystone network by scouting ahead to the Shattered Bastion, secretly concealing a new and troubling connection to the Void God that his soul-binding of the shards has opened within him. Alone inside the heavily defended human stronghold, he barely escapes a hostile garrison before being recognized by Solar Eternals serving Leofric, a commanding and increasingly authoritarian figure who holds one of the shards and expects the group's loyalty in exchange for his hospitality and army. As Malkin and his companions weigh cooperating with Leofric against the danger he poses, Malkin is sent alone into the wasteland to seek a negotiated peace with the Shagnar Fawn, the people Leofric's forces have been fighting.
