Abyss

By Nicoli Gonnella

The seventh book of the Unbound series opens with Felix Nevarre transformed into a Greater Primordial and thrust into rule over a newly conquered city and its flooded surrounding territory. Still learning the extent of his new authority, Felix works to stabilize a population devastated by war, root out paladins and assassins hiding within the city, and install a chancellor to govern in his place, all while his closest allies grapple with the ways his growing power has reshaped their own abilities. Political intrigue among the city's nobility and a monster incursion tied to the changed landscape complicate his efforts to secure the territory before he and his people can move on.
