Expanse

By Nicoli Gonnella

The sixth entry in the Unbound series finds Felix newly in command of Nagast, the territory of a defeated Archon whose repaired construct body is now piloted by the ancient paragon Karys. As the system formally recognizes Felix as Nagast's ruler, he must secure a fragile hold: judging captured prisoners, defending an uneasy alliance with newly freed frost giants, and building the stronghold's defenses before the Hierocracy that governs this world responds to his claim of authority. Cut off from his ally Zara Cyrene after the mark linking them is severed, Felix balances the demands of overseeing a newly won domain with unresolved questions about his own strange arrival in this world, all while sensing an unlocated danger despite the enclosure's apparent security.
