Exploration

By Sean Oswald

The tenth entry in the Welcome to the Multiverse series finds Silas, Selena, and Samvek stepping through a portal into an unfamiliar universe governed by its own system of magic and rules, with no confirmed way back home. Posing as ordinary humans to avoid suspicion in Basetown, a city built atop the vast, possibly sentient Endless Dungeon, the group navigates local law enforcement, a theocratic authority known as the Order that enforces the doctrine of the world's sole recognized god, and a tightly controlled trade in manufactured magic items while searching for a mysterious craftsman named Tad who may hold both answers and allies. As Silas balances his own newly won titles and abilities against the risks of drawing unwanted attention, the group edges deeper into the world's politics, uncertain whether their overwhelming power will protect them or mark them as a threat.
