An experienced close companion stranded with Silas in an unfamiliar universe. He cannot use his usual teleportation until he learns a destination there.

Silas's trusted Eidolon. The Fae courts bar him from their system, leaving Silas unable to summon him after the party's arrival.
Tad

The figure associated with manufactured magical goods sold in Basetown. A magical shower at the party's inn bears the Tad's Magical Inventory brand.

A strained soul who remains within the necklace artifact Silas carries. The artifact also contains an inaccessible inventory.
Azuria (Supporting)

Samvek's bonded dragon, known through his account of how dragons perceive mana. Their bond informs his understanding of magic even while they are separated.
The Lawgiver (Antagonist)

For three millennia, the Lawgiver has been the only god publicly recognized. His Order enforces that authority and has historically persecuted dissent.
The guildmaster (Supporting)

Basetown's experienced Adventurers Guildmaster. After witnessing the outsiders' extraordinary speed and power, he authorizes a high-level assessment in the Endless Dungeon and accompanies them as their local guide.
Silas Renner (Protagonist)

The full name given by the stranded Trailblazer previously known as Silas. A force-based fighter and healer, he enters the Endless Dungeon alongside Selena, Samvek, and the guildmaster.
Oliver
First appears in chapter 9
A Grandmaster mage and former adventuring companion of Basetown's guildmaster. His advancement beyond their old party establishes him as an important local figure before he appears directly.
Clay (Supporting)
First appears in chapter 10
Basetown's Adventurers Guildmaster and the party's oath-bound guide in the Endless Dungeon. He trusts the outsiders with his secrecy and joins their search for a suitable opponent for his advancement.
The Winter Queen

A Fae ruler who sends Silas a recorded treaty offer and asks him to carry her proposal to the Twin Prince.
Farah (Supporting)
First appears in chapter 16
Tad's illusion-clad lizard companion and fierce protector. She intercepts and kills an Order messenger before it can report the group's location to an inquisitor.
Lexa (Supporting)

Tad's treant companion and a member of the group aboard his living ship. She remains close to him as his new alliance with Silas's group takes shape.
Tad Ocean

A magical creator and prince of both the Summer and Void courts. Working through the Ways, he can offer an awakening that binds its recipient to him, and Clay knowingly accepts those terms.

Tad's sapient dungeon core. Its awareness makes it a participant in Tad's work rather than a passive magical tool.
Tad's aunt

A relative whom Tad distrusts despite believing that his family may have good intentions.
The Void Court queen (Supporting)

The ruler of the Void Court and Tad's grandmother. She recognizes Silas as a system mediator and offers temporary insight into Fae-system rules if he helps remove the Order from Basetown.
Decimus (Supporting)
First appears in chapter 53
A demon held through a scepter under Tad's authority. His arrival provokes an uncontrollable response from Samvek's new Hunger, and the group must restrain the clash before negotiating with him.
The Order arbiter (Antagonist)
First appears in chapter 57
The Order's Ascendant commander in Basetown. The arbiter captures Silas, recognizes that he comes from another system, and seeks information about his origins and sealed power.
Violet
First appears in chapter 62
An artificer rescued during the Hall of Nightmares trial. She says she is a human using a gnome avatar from an Earth transformed by an integration, and she recovers her armor and blunderbuss.
Ryan (Supporting)
Appears from the start
Silas's blood brother and a distant ally in the Divided Realms. Their established bond makes Ryan one of the important people connected to Silas beyond his immediate circle of companions.
Alana
First appears in chapter 73
Tad's aunt and an Ascendant princess of the Summer Court. Sent to retrieve her nephew, she tests Silas and Selena in battle before considering their request for help against the Order.
The void fey captor (Antagonist)
First appears in chapter 74
A void-aligned fey who holds Tad inside a barrier and has inflicted catastrophic damage on Lexa's core. The captor demands release from both the Court and the Lawgiver in exchange for Tad.
