Knight of Shadows

By Kel Kade

The sixth King's Dark Tidings novel opens six months after Rezkin's apparent death, as his companions investigate rumors that his tomb was found empty and that a masked figure known as the Raven has been active in his place. Unknown to nearly everyone, Rezkin is alive and moving in disguise through enemy territory, gathering intelligence on King Caydean's demonic activities while keeping his survival secret. Elsewhere, Frisha, held captive alongside a foreign prince for months, engineers a dangerous escape across hostile territory to expose an impostor posing as her back home, while Rezkin's mage ally Wesson pursues leads on the Raven and uncovers a brutal magical experiment run by the king's inner circle. As separate threads converge toward the capital, old loyalties and new discoveries reshape what the group understands about Rezkin and the war for Asshai.
