The Pandora Paradox
The twelfth entry in the Omega Force series finds Jason Burke's crew working through an encrypted Confed data core that reveals the enemy is secretly building massive, unidentified orbital facilities somewhere in remote space. While Omega Force investigates the find and works to shake apparent Confed surveillance, Jason also learns that his adult son Jacob has gone rogue within Earth's military to chase a woman named Margaret Jansen, a complication he cannot yet address without risking the wider rebellion. Aboard Devil's Fortune, the AI companion Lucky, operating in an unfamiliar new synthetic body, grows increasingly erratic and violently attacks Jason before disappearing, while elsewhere the ruling Machine dispatches a compromised councilman toward Earth under cover of a diplomatic mission to investigate humanity's technology.
